History

Loring became a landscaper at the age of seven. In youth he worked alongside of his father, planting, nurturing and maintaining the family's estate located in West Hartford, Connecticut. The home was built upon the grounds once planted by Noah Webster as an apple orchard. Several of Noah's trees still remained. Stone walls, hedge rows, extensive flower gardens, a rolling lawn, and surrounding woodlands defined the estate. His love for landscaping began here.

At sixteen he began his first company, maintaining the grounds of neighboring homes as well as his Father's estate. His passion for landscape inspired him to complete his degree in landscape architecture at the University of Connecticut in 1976.

A love for the wilderness led him to move to Boise, Idaho where he established his company in 1977. He became registered as a landscape Architect in Idaho in 1980 and in Arizona in 2012.

Boise, upon his arrival was, and remains today, a city surrounded by natural beauty. The city harbors people rich with new ideas. As the city grew, Loring contributed his talent, creating numerous residential communities, estates, corporate campuses, parks, and plazas. He expanded his efforts to include projects throughout the state of Idaho and communities in Utah. Maintaining harmony within the natural landscape provided the framework in which his design solutions were defined. He continues to work closely with architects, engineers, and craftsman to design and construct beautiful and sustainable environments.

As he moves the company forward into the future his goal is to draw upon his years of experience while maintaining an open mind to new innovations. To create places for people which are harmonious with the native environment and to be grateful for the gift of every day's creations.
